    2010

    Innovation in Control Award-
    This award celebrates an innovative control system or application of control components to provide unique machine functions. Team 675 won their award for using a line sensor on their robot for the game Breakaway.

    Creativity Award Sponsored by Xerox-
    The Creativity Award celebrates creativity in design, use of component, or strategy of play. Team 675 won the creativity award for the ramp design on their robot. The ramp allowed other robots to climb onto platforms for extra points during the end of the game.

    2009

    Underwriters Laboratory Safety Award- This award celebrates teams that practice safety at all times of competition. Team 675 won the Safety Award in 2009 for having safe practices in the pits and distributing safety kits to other teams during competition.

    2008

    Kleiner, Perkins, Caufield and Byers Entrepreneurship Award- The Entrepreneurship Award celebrates the entrepreneurial spirit by recognizing a team that, since inception, has developed the framework for a comprehensive business plan to scope, manage, and achieve team objectives. Team 675 won this award for having an impressive business plan that was made to provide the team with long-term support.

    2007

    Engineering Inspiration Award- This award celebrates a team’s outstanding success in advancing respect and appreciation for engineering and engineers, both within their school as well as their community. Team 675 wins this award for having an outstanding robot in 2007.
