In 2011 Technology High School's Robotics Team 675 received a check from Exchange Bank to help fund their efforts as they competed in robotics competitions sponsored by FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition in Science and Technology). Technology High School is a small school located in Rohnert Park whose Robotics Team is almost as old as the school itself. For the past eleven years the team builds a working robot that competes against other teams every year. The game changes yearly in order to allow the students to explore new way to creatively solve problems. Each team has six weeks to completely design, build and test their robots before competitions begin. Team 675 successfully completed this years competition in San Jose by making it to the quarter finals. They spend the off-season hosting community outreach events and fundraising for their next build season which will begin at the beginning of January.
